Search your area
Restaurants, groceries, and butchers appear on one map, filtered by what matters to you: hand-slaughtered only, specific certifiers, or no cross-contamination.
GoHalal maps zabiha restaurants, grocery stores, and butcher shops around you — and shows how each one sources its meat, so "halal" on the sign actually means something.
The app is in development. Waitlist members get first access when the beta opens.
How it works
Restaurants, groceries, and butchers appear on one map, filtered by what matters to you: hand-slaughtered only, specific certifiers, or no cross-contamination.
Every listing carries a sourcing card: supplier, slaughter method per protein, certification, and kitchen handling. No vague "halal available" labels.
Keep a personal list for home, work, and travel. When a listing's sourcing changes, the card updates and your saved copy shows the new date.
Why sourcing cards
Two restaurants with the same halal sign can source completely differently — one hand-slaughtered and certified, the other machine-processed with no paperwork. GoHalal records the answers a careful eater would ask for at the counter and publishes them on the listing.
You apply your own standard. The app gives you the facts to apply it with.
